Ledisi Hits All The Right Notes!

The two time Grammy Nominee Ledisi performed Last Night At The Midland AMC to a packed crowd! Eric Benet was featured and did a wonderful job singing favorites like “Sometimes I Cry” and “Real Love”, but the night took off when the beautiful Ledisi made her way to the stage, the Band Was phenomenal! She performed some of my favorite singles from her much anticipated “Pieces of Me” album and a few favorites from her previous album “Feeling Orange But Sometimes Blue.” Near the middle of the show she highlighted her very talented background singers and band mates.

Ledisi gave me chills with Riveting renditions of her classics “In the Morning” and “Alright” and Ended the night with the title single “Pieces of Me”, which had the whole audience up on their feet, she walked through the audience serenading and hugging her fans and affectionately gave us three sound words of advice before the show ended. “Number One, ‘Leap out on Faith’, Number Two ‘ Love Yourself” and Number Three “Watch who you let in your circle” advised the singer. Wise advice for all ages. Ledisi also stayed to sign autographs and T-shirts after the concert. A woman wise beyond her years many would never know she is only 32 but she told her story onstage last night and I was glad to be there. Signing off, Miss B
